A considerable number of bank accounts are being checked as part of a plan for illegal immigrants to build a hostile environment for them in the UK. The term hostile environment is generally used to refer to a dispute or war scenario. Prime Minister Theresa May used it for the first time when she was the home secretary. The real aim behind this is to create a hostile environment for illegal migration here in Britain. The UK wants to avoid the situation where people think of coming here and overstaying just because they’re allowed to access anything they need. Several plans were focused mainly in the Immigration Act, 2014 and remodelled in the Immigration Act, 2016. The idea is to make it difficult for individuals to stay in the UK without permission. Indians are considered among the unspecified number of illegal migrants who have arrived here over the years. At the beginning of January 2018, around 70 million bank accounts were checked, but these checks could affect negatively to some genuine migrants too. Every country looks to grow along with the residents or citizens of it. Migration is good for the economy where the Illegal immigration is not. Close this
